I wanted to shape something that would benefit my old Arthritic hands....The octagonal shape makes it easier to grip than something Round.
Looks spectacular. I've got a 26mm standard Maggard and a 28mm SHD Maggard's knot and absolutely love both brushes.
Wow, that looks incredible. The Black Ash Burl is stunning looking, and that is not an easy piece of wood to work with, especially when creating the shape you chose. I also really like how distinctive and unique your design is. While motivated by your particular needs, that is a really iconic looking handle. It’s real nice to see something “outside the box” of the typical design range of shaving brush handles. Very well done!
