Bic Metal @ Xmas Tree Shops.

I was at the mall on Sunday with my wife and she always likes to go to The Christmas Tree Shops, which is a chain in several states and sort of a combination of Big Lots and Family Dollar but better. Normally, I can't stand the place but I went in with her today and to my surprise they have a very decent toiletries section with a very good selection of shaving stuff. Among the items they stock are Bic Metal disposables @ $1.99 for five and there were PLENTY of them to be had.

I've never used them myself but from what I've read on B&B, there are many here who like them so if you have one of these stores near you, check it out. I'm curious to try them and will have to go back to get some by myself, as the Mrs. is not sympathetic to my shaving AD's. Good luck, men.

Good to know! I too dread the Christmas Tree Shops, but I just might swing by the one here to score some Bics.

By the way, awesome avatar pic; that's one of my all time favorite brews.

Thanks, Chris. Good to see another Hefe fan here; more people should drink that incredible brew. I forgot to mention in the initial post that although the Xmas Tree Shops' slogan is "Don't you just love a bargain?", there is nothing really bargain-like about their prices for shaving gear. Most of it is right on par with, and in some cases higher, than Walmart or Target, for example. Caveat emptor.

The last time I saw a pack of BIC Metal was in my local Xtree store.

I'll swing around this week and see if they have any.

They are the only disposable I would use along with the BIC Sensitive.
