Best TGN knot for soaps?

I'm looking at doing a restore on a nice rubberset handle.
I want to optimize this brush for soaps.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on which TGN knot I should use?

I'm leaning towards the finest. It seems to be very popular around here.

FWIW see my quick comparison here in my sig.

Yep a Finest set at a low loft ( 40-45 ) would be perfect , soft and good backbone and is the best value bang for buck. Of course YMMV !!!! :001_smile

I really like the Finest with extra hair too.
Even at 50mm loft it has great backbone.
Only downside is that it is a bit of a lather-hog, but very nice on the face.
Great in the bowl aswell as when face-lathering.

I'm selling a PenWorks custom which has a 50mm loft. It's a 22mm two band finest. It performs excellently with soaps, but at that loft, retains is competence with creams as well.

The brush on the left is a 22mm fan in finest set at 47mm loft that I made a little while back & is magic with soaps. It never blooms more than in the picture.
