Best summer scents for someone in his early 20's?

Hello fellas,
I realize that people ask "What cologne would you recommend" questions all the time, but I find many colognes that people recommend aren't what a person my age would smell right wearing (read: Penhaligon's). I realize that good taste has no age, yet I really want to avoid smelling like powder or flowers. I'm not necessarily looking for "bottled sex" scents, just something for summer weather to make me smell nice and that the ladies my age would approve. Thanks.

This summer, for me at least, has been all about Creed's Original Vetiver. Great fresh scent.

Another one that always comes highly recommended is Guerlains Vetiver.

I like Speick, Trumper's GFT, and Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta. I'm 26. But I can't really say if my taste matches my age because I'm very new at wearing fragrances.
