Best Shave Ever

Closest - 2 passes with some touch up.
Lightest touch.
Quickest.
Beautiful.
Felt like I was ice skating after the Zamboni....

And then I woke up!!! :letterk1:

No, seriously - something seemed to 'kick in' today. Hope it's a trend...

That's all - just FWIW. Thx.

Thing is can you repeat it. :wink2:

You will learn in time, what works and what doesn't, i can guarantee a bbs shave everyime provided i use certain products and razors in my rotation.

^ I can repeat it. A few things just came together this ~week and then a small 'Ah Ha!' moment.

It's partly the razor; definately not the product... (for me)

which razor did you use?

Well - since you asked........It was a Dorko 7/8 that was expertly honed by some guy named Mainaman!!

It's a fine shaver with a great edge, but in addition to that, I'm finally figuring out how to get the best out of it, both in terms of stropping/maintenance as well as shaving technique. I'm also having good success with a Torrey 5/8 that I use as well.

Now, if I could only get this coticle under control......

Those Dorkos take amazing edges.
I finished mine on C12k, Asagi, Muler thuringian, Kiita all the edges were equally good, just great steel imo.
