Best Scrub without Scritch but with flow through ?

I prefer the wall of badger scrub without scritch face feel of my Simpson Chubby 1 Super 3 band to all other brushes owned or tried ; boars , horses , pure and best badger .
I have a Thater 4125 / 0 2 band which is scrub without scritch but I still prefer the feel of the Chubby 1 .
It's well known that the Chubby is a lather hog and that's why I'm looking for an alternative .
Maybe it's just inherent in the dense design of the knot .
So looking for best scrub without scritch , but with flow through .

A quality broken in boar will give what you desire IMO. Which boars did you try?

M&F Blonde Badger 2 or 3 Band IMHO, provide the qualities you seek nicely.

My Kent Silvertex Synthetic has unbelievable flow through. At about 20 mm it is a smallish knot, though. Very very soft and great scrub. Absolutely no scritch. Under $20 delivered.

And believe it or don't, my $9.99 "defective handle" finest badger (ebay) has fabulous flow through--scrubby with no stricth.

Perhaps the original person talking about it didn't know what scritch is.

my D01 3 band has NO scritch at all, it's a great brush and highly recommended. I don't get much scrub from it, but there is definetly more sensation then say my Rooney's, but not in a bad way.

Shavemac D01 is one of the best knots available from any maker.

I have three of these, and I don't sense any scritch when using any of them, just pleasant scrub. YMMV

D01 two band. Mine is extremely scrubby but no scritch at all.
