best badger or pure ?

I have no idea what the difference is? can someone explain in a few words. thanks

Typically the difference is what part of the badger the hair is from, which will make a brush more/less soft etc.

An explanation in a few words?: Best is softer, Pure is stiffer.

Grades vary from maker to maker but in general the best is a step up from pure with pure being very prickly. Best in my opinion is the best bargin in badger brushes.
