Hey guys I'm looking for a bay rum smell similar to Col Conks at a cheaper price....I have tried Masters and really don't like the clove smel...also tried Ogalla and the wife didn't like. Just looking for a Bay Rum smell similar to Col Conks at a cheaper price... Thanks

Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum is only like, $8 for a large bottle. I like the smell personally and it's even available at a local drugstore.

+1 on the Pinaud. My wife didn't really care for it until about the 3rd time I used it. I came out into the living room, she did her customary "inspection" of the shave results of the day, smelled, and said, "Mmm, that's nice, what is it?" I told her, and she said, "I guess I like it, after all."

Are you sure that you mean Masters when you say it has a clove smell?! In my experience, I found that Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum was very clove-y (which is pretty good in my book...), but Masters was more of a straight bay scent.

If you're not into clove, have you tried Superior 70? It's a light, fleeting bay rum which has no clove in it at all (at least to my nose). It's also about the cheapest BR you can find: about $3 for a big ol' plastic bottle of it.
