Bay Rum DIY?

Hi gents.
Every american talks good about Bay Rum AS,so i really like to try it.
Since its very rare here and the postage high,i wonder if you can mix
together some AS by yourself?
I have found a concentrated fragrance oil with the scent of Bay Rum.

Is it just to mix some vodka and oil and splash?

I guess it is more to it....

I believe there are some actual recipes that have been posted on the site. If I recall correctly, I think you need to do a little more than add oil to vodka, though.

I am planning to make some Bay Rum aftershave. I started with the rum.
I looked for the leaves, so I could make this the old-fashioned way. Long story, but no dice. Oil is the only way. Finally found the right oil.

Formulas vary. Wikipedia has a good write-up.
