I picked up some of these on eBay to match up with the vintage barber bottles I've put to use (see photos here). I just looked them up again to order another set, and in light of recent discussions here, I thought the source might be worth sharing.
FWIW, the corks on these stoppers are a little too big for some of my bottles. I haven't figured out a good way to re-size them yet. The cork liners on the set I bought previously were dry and somewhat fragile. (Maybe I needed to re-hydrate them.) Any suggestions would be appreciated, including how to adapt undrilled cork stoppers for use with vintage porcelain tops that have lost or cracked liners.
Also, if anyone knows of a better source, please let me know. I'd like to find some smaller tops. Vintage porcelain stoppers come up on eBay now and then, but not at prices I care to pay.
