It's great stuff I just couldn't handle the scent after an hour or so, it really hung on heavily for me.
If you can handle this you can certainly handle Ogallala. Pacific Rush burns menthol cold, Ogallala burns hell fire hot
Really? The scent seemed to vanish for me instantly, which is why I loved it. Honestly there was one second where unlike AV which feels cool this felt icy. Honestly Osage Rub and the Alco- whatever it is must make your eyes feel like you were pepper sprayed.

Heck yeah!! The main selling point of Pacific Rush is that it's menthol content is off the charts!!
The scent reminds me a bit of mouthwash, not unpleasant, but not necessarily something one would rave about.
Who cares about the scent though, we are all buying this for the menthol blast!!
Whoa! You just gave me an awesome idea. Menthol triggers your cold receptors just as capsaicin triggers your heat receptors. I propose Osage as a pepper-spray antidote! Keep a small toy water gun filled with Osage in your pocket, and if you are lucky enough to get OC'd straight across your browline (it drips into your eyes, delicious), just go to town on your own face with the Osage!
This cannot possibly fail. I only wish I had thought of it before I was subjected to a non-lethal training course...
I like it a lot. The scent after just a minute just smells like a cough drop to me. It's not that strong so I don't mind.
AV and Pacific Rush were both nice for about 5 minutes then smelled funky then lingered for a good 2 or 3 unbearable hours, the menthol blast was amazing though.
I have found other options, listed in order of menthol kick:
Saint Charles Shave Blue Line - no scent at all after 5 minutes.
Mama Bears Mandarin Ice - lovely mandarin scent that lingers for a good half hour or so. I imagine all of her ice balms have the same kick but I only tried mandarin because that's the only sample she sells.
Barbon - also no scent at all after 5 minutes.
Alt-Innsbruck - less than half the menthol kick than any others mentioned in this thread but the menthol is still there, the smell is awesome and it lasts a good 3 hours or so on me.

I've been wanting to try these Barbasol splashes for a while. Can't find any in any stores, though. I'm a big fan of a frosty kick.

impress me, either did the fragrance. But......it has grown on me and I have found that less is more regarding how long the fragrance lasts. It is usually gone for me tops a 1/2 hour.

I have come to the conclusion that Osage Rub is a tame kitten compared to Pacific Rush. Osage Rub somehow manages to turn itself off after a while, but the PR seems to only escalate in intensity and actually gets stronger. YMMV. The menthol of PR really hangs around on me.
The smell of PR doesn't bother me at all, however, I rarely use it now as it's too much of a menthol "experience" for me.

The scent of Pacific Rush disappears in a half hour or less with me. I actually like the scent. But I'm mostly after the menthol-and-alcohol, so the scent is strictly secondary anyway ...
good stuff, but i find myself reaching for the barbasol brisk more than the PR these days.
I'm very fortunate to live just 3 blocks from the Dollar General in my small hometown of Owensville, Indiana, population 1300+/-. Plus, my wife works at the DG, too!

Barbasol Pacific Rush has become my go to AS this summer...the menthol blast is great! I find the scent does not last too long on me so it doesn't clash with my cologne.
After using it for a solid week, PR is now my work day splash before heading out the door. The coolness lasts quite a while (over 30 minutes) for me, and the scent fades fast. The wife really likes it, which is good because she hated AV (and I didn't like it either).

With my dryish skin, I can`t use splashes on my face
But they are great as a cooling body spash
In fact 2 days ago, I spashed some AV Original Sport (GREEN) on my chest
