Bakelite razor - is it a tech?

Hi,

I just got this in the mail today, has a patent code: 433166 and Made in england on it.

Am I right in calling this a tech? Are they common, I've never seen one before!

Not a Tech, Gillette abandon the 3 hole head design long before the Tech came around.

It looks a lot like my razor, except this one doesnt appear to have a patent number. Hopefully Achim will chime in soon and fill in the gaps!

these look neillite razors from england, from the james neil and co. shefield england. or the kelson from birminham england 1937. they were baked lght razors.

Look like Neillite to me, as well. Obscenely mild razors.

I tried shaving with it this morning, loaded it with a crystal blade, and well, it wont be making it into the rotation.

Probably with a feather it would be fine. But it's really just not for me!
