What's new

Back to DE for a While :sigh:

From time to time I've complained about my health. Well, I've got another gripe, because due to a medicine I have to take which messes with my reflexes and can make me a bit groggy, it looks like it's back to DE shaving for a while for me. If I had more expereience or better straight technique, I'd stick with the straights, but I don't—I looked and hard as it is for me to believe, I only got my first straight a few days before Thanksgiving.

This rotten stuff should be part of my life for only six to eight weeks, worst case. But until then, shaving will be with a Futur loaded with a Feather

Your still better off then most men no canned goo and disposables. Be glad you've got wet shaving and get back to the straight when your doing better. :thumbup1:

Don't fret... you still get to use your brush and creams/soaps of choice. I wish you the best and a soon return to straights.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes. In the meantime, there's all sorts of silly stuff I can do, like benchmarking the performance of my brushes.... :001_rolle

There is no shame in DE shaving. I don't suffer your medical afflictions and after 8 months of str8 shaving exclusively, I returned to DE shaves because I get a better, consistant shave with no blood loss. That's why some folks fly on airplanes and some folks ride the rails.
Welcome back to the DE side.
