B&m stores for loose leaf tea

Howdy folks,

I live in san jose , ca. Where should I go to shop for loose leaf tea?

There is teavana at the mall and I heard it is way over priced.

Whole foods has a small and limited selection.

Any ideas?

How about Peet's. I'm was surprised how good their Assam is. They have a good variety in tins

There's a few places in The City that are good. There's a place in Chinatown that is excellent-forget the name. The very nice owner will also take her time and explain each tea.
Do a search for "Tea in San Fran" that's how I found it.

There used to be a tea shop at Santana Row, but I think they closed down...there are a few places in Berkeley...Really your best bet it online. I highly recommend Harney and Sons both for quality and pricing...they have a great selection as well.
