Still in, but temptation is rising. I feel like I was transported to an alternative universe. My LOTH said to enjoy simply my hobby and get what I want. There must be something tricky behind this, right?! This is a test of sorts!
Eat sleep shave repeat. Fabulous shave again. Yesterday and today were actually spectacular.

Monday Day 5 still in
Still in on day 5. Same kit as yesterday but a little rushed. Tried to multitask tonight and shave while bathing the kids. No big mistakes, but too heavy handed and left with mild irritation. I should know better, struggle most days single tasking much less doing more than one thing at a time.
Day 5, 16.1% complete
Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Saponificio Varesino Cubebe
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #1
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm
Loaded a fresh Astra, and the shave was fine, but tomorrow's will be even smoother. I opened a fresh "Nivea Protect & Care Replenishing Post-Shave Balm", and it performed better than the last of the old one. Maybe the air gets to it.

Another great shave. The R89 feels very nimble and easy to use while it does a magnificent job in bringing home the smoothness together with this double digit Dorco.

Still in - a Simpsons Chubby 1 ordered in July did arrive though.
Feels very good on the face. Nice size - plays bigger than it looks. It is losing a few hairs but I am not panicking, with a brand new super grade knot in a chubby this will come with the territory, starting out.
Still learning the way around my face with this Ambassador. 3 on the dial seems to be my sweet spot.
SV soap gets all the kudos, and it's marvellous, but the aftershave is all kinds of wonderful too

The SOC Mistura I had ordered last month arrived, and boy it was worth waiting for. Very usable right out of the box. No stink, and soft tips. Good lather generation and retention. It's perfect.
