Soap: Saponificio Varesino Opuntia
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #6
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea 2-in-1 Aftershave
I used Opuntia for SV Saturday. Got a perfect bowl-lather, and an easy near-BBS.
Nivea 2-in-1 is also excellent stuff.

Day 4 in the books. Considered giving the tiger carbon steel blade another shot today. Boy am I glad I didn't do that. The voskhod was the only new piece in the kit today and my whiskers just melted off. Best shave I've had in a while. Easy 10/10.

I am getting a bit repetitive, with the same ingredients surfacing again and again, but the combination is proving to be hard to beat. Yaqi Mellon in zamak, FlyDear Super Platinum (4) Proraso wood and spice, Yaqi England 20mm synthetic, repurposed brass posy bowl, Malizia Uomo Vetyver AS, Nivea Men Sensitive post shave balm and Proraso alum block (not in pic).
A great shave again, although I got a bit carried away below the jaw line and felt a fair bit of feedback for it!
Face 3/3 Neck 3/3 Weepers, nicks, irritation 2.5/3 Zen 1/1
Score 9.5/10
Intead of buying something, I PIF'd 50 BiC blades to my son. Bonus points?
