Atlanta Coffee Houses to visit

I'm taking an espresso class at Counter Culture next week and plan on sticking around an extra day to hit up some of the local coffee houses. I plan on hitting the big names- Octane, Urban Grind, and Dancing Goat.

What else is in that area of town? I also realize that Dancing Goat is a little bit off course. I'm trying to stick to the area near Octane, Counter Culture, and Urban Grind.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't know Atlanta well enough to comment, though I would expect a some of your classmates will have a few coffeeshops/restaurants to recommend. The Varsity is fast food, but it's infamous and might be worth a visit if you have never been.

Don't know of any coffee places. Bam far as an amazing place to eat if it's not too far from where you will be check out this restaurant. Ate here with my wife when she was doing artifact work at the jimmy Carter museum.
