ASCO Orange by LORD

I have been sampling the different blade offerings from LORD and have tried both Sharks, Big Ben, Lord Platinum, Lord Super Stainless. Latest to go was ASCO in the orange wrapper. My opinion-pass. I did get a close shave with this blade (Gillette NEW Long Comb) but it really took a long....... time, took multiple passes in multiple directions and I believe I still missed a few spots! It's interesting that LORD has all these different brands and I thought that surely they must all be the same? Been finding out differently I tell ya! I suppose they sell different blades in different markets. Ciao!

Sorry to hear the ASCO blade didn't work out for you. The Asco and Big Ben blades are among my favorites from Lord, but I found the Lord Racer left them in the dust. Of course, YMMV!

I, too, am amazed at the vast variety of offerings from Lord. At first, I thought they must be the same blade in different wrappers. After testing several of them, I found this was definitely not the case. Almost all of them shave slightly differently and have their own little nuances.

+1.. I thought the Racer was an awesome blade also. I wish that more vendors carried this blade.
