Artisanal Perfumers

Just wondering if anyone on BB is a fan of artisanal perfumers? Usually one man (or woman) shows, aka. not owned by L'Oréal, Estee Lauder or LVMH, and use most natural, organic ingredients like real musk, ambergris and oud, which is unheard of in the commercial fragrance industry.

Examples include: Areej Le Dore, Prin Prissana, and St. Clair Scents (she also makes artisanal butter for Michelin starred restaurants)

Welcome to B&B, Sir Zanetsuken!

While I can't claim belonging to 'fan of artisanal perfumers', I confess to checking out small perfumers when I'm out and about.

Lucky to find a small shop outside London last year and took back one travel-size potion, which is great!

Lots!

I am in Canada and really like Piper and Perro fragrances. Just two people run it. Also Zoologist which is luckily near my house. Run by just Victor Wong.

I also love many smaller houses (more than one person though) such as Francesca Bianchi and Parfum D’Empire.

I'm not sure if this qualifies but I've been very impressed with the Orto Parisi line.

Very unique (to me at least) scents. Not mass crowd pleasers but certainly quality workmanship.

I will second the mention on Chatillon Lux and also throw in Imaginary Authors. I believe the guy behind Chatillon Lux, Shawn Maher, creates many of the scents for Spearhead Shaving (reincarnation of Seaforth) and several of those are very nice.
