There is so many threads on how great this soap is, but personally I hate it.

So for all the haters out there lets Hate on Arko lol.

I'll start....

I hate the way Arko lathers, period.

I find Arko to be very overrated. Yes, it performs fine, but nothing like QCS, or Mike's, or Tabac. The scent isn't very pleasant either. I worked through one stick of it, but I will very likely never buy more.

Honestly I feel the product is meh; passable, but not a joy to use. Give me VDH any day instead.

To be quite honest I have never used VDH.... I have 4 pucks of it but never lathered it up. Weird ain't it?

I think the smell of Arko to be kind of strong, but it's a solid performer. I've never used QCS or Mike's. I've used Irisch Moos sticks, and they are great; and Crabtree & Evelyn. Palmolive shave sticks, Spieck, VDH. I think they're all on the same playing field.

At first, I thought the smell was too overwhelming, but I've grown accustomed to it.

VDH is another solid performer. I'd be super it they made it into a stick, though!!

I can't stand Crabtree & Evelyn. I never used QCS, Mikes, Spieck and obviously VDH. Did I metion I hate Arko too?

I use Razorock anything and P. 160. The best soap ever made is P. 160, period.

I had a very bad reaction to the soap, my skin did not agree with it. Never will use it again.

Back to the topic at hand...I wonder how many Arko haters are also Williams haters....

I feel I have to throw out my brush after using Arko.... That smell just lingers and lingers

I'm new to the wet shaving world and have only experimented with a small handful of creams and soaps. I figure this post is as good as any to ask if you could try and describe the smell? In my mind, I feel it smells like bleach HA!
