No numbers on those fantastic Aristocrats, I jst sold one but kept the "1947'". A fantastic razor, much better over the 40's SS if you ask me! :)
Couldn't remember when they stopped numbering, I suppose I could have gone and looked at mine. I agree it's a fantastic shaver.

A 1930s Aristocrat is the tip-top shaving machine here. It almost magically induces the shaver to keep the blade angle just right and shaves close with no nicks, weepers, or razor burn. The shave head just seems to be a superior design to the later Fatboys, Super Speeds and such. This pre-war Aristocrat also seems to be the safest one to use if one needs to zip through a shave in a hurry and can't be too concerned with precision though it's at it's best when the time is taken to render a fine shave.

As several others have mentioned, pictures do help us be more precise in helping you date your razor.

The post-war Aristocrats were produced from 1946 to 1951. Starting in 1951, they carried a date code indicated by the letter W in the upper left corner of the bottom of the base plate. A number between 1 and 4 will appear in the upper right corner. The letter indicates the year, the number indicates the quarter in which it was made.

A 1950 razor will not have a date code. If you look inside the blade tray (doors open) you will see patent reference lettering with the word "package" abbreviated as "PKG."

1948 and '49 production will also not have a date code, but the word "PACKAGE" is spelled out.

'46 and '47 production has a different center spider, with no notches on the ends of the center bar. These razors were produced before the introduction of the blade dispenser package, which used the center bar notches to "grab" the blade when dispensing it from the package.

post-WWII Aristocrats were identical to the pre-war models with the exception of the newly added end caps too.

1948-50 were little tamer and had a knurling in the upper band on the handle, 1948 models had notched center bars for hands-free blade loading. The case was changed to a larger square shapedmodel with pigskin covering. Also stamped on the inside of the base plate changed from “PAT. NOS. ON PACKAGE” to “PAT. NOS. ON PKG”.
