Are there washable flat caps available?

I wear ball caps during the summer, but much prefer the look of flat caps. All of my flat caps are wool and are only suited to cool weather. Since I'm wearing my ball caps in the summer heat they get sweat stains. As long as I get ball caps with a plastic stiffener I can just gently wash them with a detergent loaded rag and rinse with water and have them nice and clean again. Does anyone know of a flat cap or two that I can similarly wash two or three times a year and is also fairly cool? I'm rural, so everything would be sourced online.

Sterkowski have a variety of cotton or linen flat caps, intended for warm weather. You might have to ask what the brims are made from/washing instructions. Another thought might be a cotton beret, with no hat band or brim stiffener to worry about, and can be shaped to have a brim like a flat cap.

I wear my black wool Kangol, no liner, for forestry work, gardening, and other active outdoor chores. It will take careful handwashing. I'm not sure you would wear it in the summer, but I sure do. I have a newer Kangol that I am still wearing for cleaner activities like outdoor dining, parties, etc.

I also have a 100% synthetic summer weight aeroknit Dorfman Pacific (DPC) that can be easily handwashed/rinsed but it doesn't seem any cooler to me than the wool Kangol unless a good breeze is blowing.

I think the unlined felt Kangol vents out the moisture and stays cool evaporatively.

I have a linen and cotton Ivy cap from Jaxon that you can gently hand wash. I also have a Tropic Ventair 504 from Kangol that you can hand wash. I wouldn't recommend any flat cap go in the washing machine; too much risk of damaging it.

Believe it or not Stetson has quite a catalog of classic flat caps of varying weights.

and here my summer one that is great in the rain, and, can be washed.
