Are Open Combs or Slants any Better on the Neck?

I have only used closed safety bars. I get good BBS shaves above the jaw line. Below the jaw line is SAS. I think an open comb would just be exposure to cuts on the chin and neck. But I don't know. Perhaps the same with a slant. Anyone know if an OC or Slant is better on the neck yet not risk a blood bath?

There is more than one path to paradise. Some say a more aggressive razor takes care of their neck issues, some say mild. For me it was using the same razor differently. To clean up the hard to get neck spots, I use a "modified stretch" by dragging a finger from my other hand just ahead of the razor while buffing. That tells me where to focus, mildly stretches the area and gives me feedback so I know when to stop.

Best on my neck is an injector, seems to go east-west better with the slightly narrower blade. I always have a Schick M type in the rack to get the neck bbs when I want it. That said, I see nor feel any difference between an Open Comb, Safety Bar or Slant DE in that area. I think that it is another of those YMMV things that depends on the beard direction on the neck
