Here's an Apollo that looks like it was never used and has not suffered the fate of the pot metal. There is no corrosion or peeling of the chrome plating. It looks really fine, and that is one heavy duty adjustable. Highly regarded, highly recommended. I'm showing it next to its little cousin, maybe little brother. Well made and great shaver. Just wish they had used brass rather than zinc as the base.

what are the markings on the Ben Hur Apollo ( that is the non adjustable. )

The Ben Hur Apollo was marked Ben Hur on the head & was an adjustable razor. The markings on the handle of the non-adjustable Apollo are for the grip & the cool look.
