I wonder if the stars, that narrate, are really drunk or if it's an act? I do think it's rather brilliant that the A list stars mouth the drunk narrative.

I've only viewed the episode on Mary Dyer. I don't know who the woman was who was telling the story but she was definitely drunk. She became very emotional at the end and was on the verge of crying but her closing comments were pretty funny. My daughter was passively watching the show and remarked that the story being told was surprisingly accurate. When I first heard of the show's concept I thought it sounded pretty stupid but once I saw it executed, I found it was entertaining and was surprised at the actors who appeared in it. I don't know if I will seek it out but I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I never thought the concept was stupid, because, yes, I too have been known to get drunk and retell great stories from history. However, I saw the pilot and wasn't impressed. I'm sure it would be better if I watched it drunk.

I'm off on Wednesday so I get to watch this show Tuesday night while drinking. It's way better that way.

They are definitely drunk, one guy was puking his guts out in the middle of his story. He could barely form a sentence but it was fun to watch!
