Anyone heard of C. Chappuis, Bale

Found a local seller who is selling a straight razor and the box says C. Chappuis, Bale. They claim it's worth about $115 and are asking $25 for it. It's not shave ready but looks to be in pretty good condition. Any ideas, I can't find anything online.

This situation presents many areas of potential trouble. I'd skip this razor, and buy something from the B/S/T or Whipped Dog, instead.

Boxes and Razors do not always match. You would want to know what is marked on the tang of the razor.
Is this a new production razor, or a vintage razor?
I am not familiar with that brand.
