Anyone ever tried one these shaving mugs/bowls?

I am anticipating purchasing one of these mugs in the black color.

I like the size and especially the fact that they are somewhat break resistant.

It may not live through a crash to the tile floor but live another day if just dropped into the sink.

Probably my most important piece of shaving gear I've purchased is the bowl from Dirty Bird Pottery.

It completely changed the way I can lather. I can lather even the worst of soaps and creams with this thing. At this point it doesn't matter what product I use.

I bought one from a guy on the BST, and before that I was a face latherer. Changed my life (shaving-wise that is), now I really only face lather if I'm in an insane hurry, or I'm shaving outta my travel kit.

I have the Marvy mug, but I really like your suggestion/recommendation for the Hart product. The brush rest is a nifty feature. Overall, the Hart mug appears to be a very nice functional design.

I have an Apothecary Mug like this, and it has raised bumps on the bottom to aid in lathering with a brush
