Any Talc-free powders...?

that still smell like Talc?

I love the scent of Clubman talc, but the health concerns with using the powder make me nervous. I've seen talc-free body powders, but are there any that smell similar?

I don't believe talc alone has a scent. There are a wide number of powders based with corn starch, though.

Assuming you're worried about a possible cancer link, you can use the Balla brand talc powders. They contain non-asbestiform talc, which means no cancer worries (the cancer link, if it exists, has to do with a form of asbestos present in some mined talc).

The Gold Bond Ultimate powder is really good. Doesn't smell like Clubman, however. It is cornstarch based and has aloe and a nice scent all its own.

While on the road I used it to lube a new air hose I had to pull through a cable wire loom on a machine I was servicing. It works well for that purpose as well, and the machine sure smelled nice afterwared. I was afraid to use wire pulling powder compound because I thought it might attack the plastic air lines.

Crabtree and Evelyn have corn starch based powders. I use the lavander it is a more dark lavander as opposed to a bright more lady like scent. IMHO

I'm pretty sure talc is a high-profit product. I buy the generic Gold Bond from Target, but its still more expensive than a plain talc (or corn-starch powder). Most of the fancy ones have you paying dearly for a small amount of fragrance.

generic for me at the dollar stores, just as good , however , I believe in safety first,I do not want to inhale talc !! I hold my breath ,apply, and get out of the room...if there is any cancer link,it must be from inhalation, and not application to skin

I'm curious to know if people actually know what harms you in talcum powder and who it directly affects. Talcum powder has been rumored to causing ovarian cancer. If you don't have ovaries, then you can't get cancer from it. So, that means this product is completely safe for all men since guys don't have ovaries. Second, there are many talc free options that substitute cornstarch instead of the talc and still work great for chafing and for diaper rashes. I have been using a talcum powder for men called Anti Monkey Butt and have had no problems because I'm a guy. But, my newborn and my wife both use the the talc free cornstarch products with no complaints. Another thing to address is that talcum powder is usually unscented like someone mentioned earlier. So I don't understand why someone would want the smell of talcum powder because there is normally no scent unless the product you were using added a scent to their product. If you are curious about the many products of chafing or want to learn more information about hoe anti itch powders could work for your family, go to www.antimonkeybutt.com.
