Any love for Nacet Platinums?

Just had a shave tonight with a Nacet Plat. in my '58 Exec. Fatboy, and got a great shave. Absolutely no nicks or cuts and little to no razor burn. I have recently been using a straight razor, and wanted one good DE shave for the week. Not sure if the use of the straight has made me more aware of the blade on my skin, or if the Nacet/Fatboy combo was just a winner for me.

Are the Nacet Platinums shown below the ones you're referring to? If so I find them to be nice blades.

I've used some vintage British made Nacet Platinum blades and found them to be a bit lacking in both
sharpness and smoothness.

Close, but not a match. Made for Gillette U.K. hmm.. mine don't have the Arabic text or the Gillette text.. perhaps a different origin. The word Platinum on the front is solid text too.

Nacet Plats are one of my faves. Smooth and forgiving.

I think I saw a non-plat version available the other day as well, also in the new packaging.

The Russian ones are great blades, I find them very similar to Astra platinums YMMV.

I remember Nacet Platinums were one of my favorite samples when starting out. I haven't been back to them in a while, though, having left them behind when I encountered the Personna Meds and was blinded by love.

Haven't tried the personna med preps yet, but are surely in the queue.

I've always found them quite shave friendly. In fact, I just finished my 6th shave with one. Still smooth and a DFS. Thy're good to have in a rotation.
