Any brushes between 15 and 18 mm knot size?

There seems to be a big gap from 15 to 18 mm knot size. We have the Wee Scot on the one hand at 14 mm and most regular brush lines start at around 19 mm at the small end. Is there anything I am missing? I want to go smaller, but not sure if the Wee Scot is going a little too far...

Thanks in advance!

TGN has knots to make brushes from in 16 mm in Best and Finest, as well as 18 mm in Silvertip Grade A.

I have the Wee and my next series of brushes are 18mm. In my view, there is quite a jump in brush feeling between these.

I have seen the 16mm available from GN and have been very curious. If I were you I might ask Rudy to build a 16mm for me to bridge the gap.

Or should that be....Mind the Gap.

Plisson has a #4, #6, & #8 which are 17 mm in diameter. The lofts are just different being 44 mm, 47 mm, & 50 mm respectively.

Simpsons makes three more beside the Wee Scot. They are the Harvard H1 with a knot of 17 mm, plus the 55 and the Harvard H2 both with knots of 18 mm. You can find them at Shoebox Shave Shop.
