another serial # Toggle

Unfortunately no case here, and that's a loss for sure. But I'm still glad to join the small and exclusive club (11 members as of today) of this 1956 adjustable razor club. I already added my serial # to the wiki.

Looks like it may have been used lightly--it would have likely maintained its pristine quality had it still been in its case.

Is the serial number also the number of the number of the razors made?

Awesome score Jake. As usual your global network of little yellow minions has managed to bring you home the bacon :)

That's how you get these... right?

Wow Jake that's super and welcome to the club.

I've never seen any documentation that states the number that were made, but the "guess" of 5000 has been floating around for a while.
The range of serial numbers found to date does not conflict with this.

Great score Jake! This is one of the razors that I'd love to add to my collection hopefully in the future!

Rob@AceByTerror, had a good laugh thanks to your picture of the minions with the toggle:001_smile

Yes, the numbers indicate the chronological order of the razors made, you have razor number 4,123, not many were made so you are lucky. You are now an official member of the TLC gang too...Toggle lovers club http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showth...LC-Post-all-things-Toggles-here-pics-and-tips

Actually I think you will find that it is only ten members - some people have DUPLICATES!

Not so sure about this 'club' thing though, what was it they say about clubs .... :confused1

Great score make, glad you minions rescued this for you :)
