So... this is my recent score from the flea market.
Unfortunately I must browse extensively for hours in order to find something good, but sometimes I am lucky

Gillette Tech

Gillette Mono Tech from Brasil, almost like it was never used
(Is it from 50's or 80's?? What was the production range of those models?)

I must say that it shaves really nice and without any irritation.

The date range is somewhat of a issue to date. Gillette in Brazil had economic problems and Brazil being a 3rd world country was not well organized. Gillette stayed in Brazil for a long time but the production process was not up to date due to these economic issues, such as Hyperinflation, deficit spending, heavy foreign borrowing, high interest rates growth, inflation was 40-50% a month.

Gillette had the production of many older razor designs, and the Brazilian Mono Tech fits the bill. This razor has a date from the 50's and 80's too. It seems that even with the date codes the razor date still stands to be an ordeal to date. There other theories, but I think that the economic issues that Gillette faced in most of Latin America most likely extended this razor

Is there a date code on the under side of the head of the Mono Tech? Like H-2 or J-4 some combo like that?
