one of my sons ran out of canned gel, he is a multi blade canned gell user,heasked me if i had any shaving stuff that would give him a good lather, whipped him up some real shaving co cream in a bowl with a brush an left him to it, after he was finnished i asked him what he thought, the best shave he has ever had says he, if only he would give up those overpriced multi blade things for a good de razor, at least he is now a convert to a good cream and brush.
