Wright and Barrett's voiced sounded wonderful together, I however prefer Syd's solo work particularly Madcap and the Opel compilation.
I bought Opel when it came out in the late eighties and was blown away by it...been into Barrett ever since.

great song! love the alternate version of Matilda Mother that was on the 3-disk Piper mono/stereo release a few years back. it had the original 'Cautionary Tales' lyrics

not wild about this Gilmour remix - seems to be a hybrid of 2 recordings.
