Ok...I just remembered that last year I was digging through my dad's shave den and found an older can of Barbasol that was PURPLE! I think it was called Barbasol Skin Protecting and was formulated just like the green and yellow (i.e. the green is the same as the red but with aloe added, and the yellow is the same as the red with lanolin added) the purple had witch hazel added.
I googled a bit and didn't find anything, but i'm betting this is when Pfizer owned the brand and was messing around with it. Does anyone have any memories of using/seeing this stuff?
