Al's Save Cream

I agree. Al's creams are as good or better than anything else out there, with more complex and interesting scents. He now has two soft soaps which are also top performers. I enjoy trying a variety of products, but I always come back to Al's for consistently excellent lather and terrific scents.
I got the sampler of cream and a full sized tub of Calypso. I wasn't sure about the Calypso in the beginning but it's grown on me a lot. In the scents defense, I never had a Bay Rum soap until I started DE a short while ago in this was in my first batch of soap/creams with that scent. Al also sent me a Aftershave balm in Calypso to replace the Calypso cream in the sampler. Pairing the cream with the scent really cements my love of AL's products. I must say though after running through the sampler the Boheme is by far my favorite scents not only from Al's but in all the soaps and creams I have tried up until now. With Samples that is about 20, so I will be placing a order for a tub and after shave balm soon.
I had Al whip up a custom mentholated blend for me based on one of his existing blends....wow! This is now my second most favorite shaving cream though it is easily the best in terms of latherability. I can 't recommend Al's enough...super cremes...super service!
love the Boheme and the Goodfellas(barbershop scent) creams. He also made me a custom Lemon cream that was superb. Bravissimo paisan !

Well, I won't be buying any, $20 for shipping to Canada is more than the cost of the product.
Al's creams are all some of the best there are. My favorite scent is Boheme, but I have yet to open my tin of Sapone da Barba. Kinda saving it for a special occasion in line with the 30 other special occasion creams i have.
That doesn't sound right. You ought to send Al an email about that....
ps My favorite scent is Saigon with Rosebud as a close second.
Boheme may be the best scented cream in all of wet shaving along with T&H Grafton. Marvelous performer as well.
I'm DUMB, AL pointed out to me that I can order his product in canada from menessentials! WOO!
Rosebud ?!!? didn't know about that scent... is it new or am I blind because to me Rose is the epitome of a perfect scent.

I'm in Toronto on Friday and will be going to menessentials on danforth to stop in and get some of this stuff I hope!
Rosebud is now called Calabria. Al has special scents that are only available for a limited time, and Rosebud was one of those. It's one of my favorites, and fortunately it's now available under the name Calabria. Personally, I like the name Rosebud better.
The Rosebud I got had a big rose scent up front, and I was sad when I used it all up. Glad to know it's still available under the Calabria moniker! Thanks evnpar.
