Aftershave like AOS balm?

I've been using a couple of sample packs from Art of Shaving and I really like the balm at the end -- very thick and moisturizing.

However, I don't really like its price for the amount in the bottle. Any comparable thickness / moisturizing aftershave balms you suggest I try?

I like that it is alcohol free.

One thing I've noticed about the AOS balm is that it seems to last a very long time. I'm not sure if it's the dispenser, the concentration, or what. I have been using mine everyday for over a month and it seems to hardly be making a dent. I think it would last 3-4 months with daily use. Although that may be the going rate for an AS, now that I think about it.

I like nice thick balms (my skin gets dry during the winter here). My favorite is Pre de Provence, which has a sage/woodsy scent and no alcohol. The ingredients are pretty nice, and its usually around $13-$15.

I use the Sandalwood gel (oily skin) and a little goes an awful long way

thanks everyone. I think I'll give the Pre de Provence a try. I imagine it'll work well for my winter as well.
