After Shave Balms

What is your favorite balm?
I am currently using Nivea and would like to add some be ones to my rotation
Suggestios welcome

I'm no expert, but here's a few I like....

Proraso "Crema Liquida Dopbarba," no alcohol, comes in a thin, crescent-shaped bottle. Very mild, almost scentless. I forgot how good this one was until I re-stocked.

St. John's bay rum balm. Nice scent, a little sting, but does the job.

Em's Place Aftershave Soother and Moisture Balm. It can be ordered in a variety of scents (I like bay rum!). 8 ounces seems expensive, but the measured pump dispenser makes it a bargain. I haven't found ANYTHING that can calm down a rough shave faster or better than this stuff.

I've being using the Speick AS balm for the past few months and really liking it. Malaspina's Salish Sunshine was great as well.

I have quite a few but I seem to always gravitate to the Nivea more often.

Caswell-Massey make an excellent ASB if you want to try something different

AND.....

If you like the scent of Pinaud Clubman, Avon Wild Country Balm is almost identical in scent

Back in the day my aunt was an Avon representative so I used a lot of Wild Country A/S
is the balm still available?

+1. Avon Wild Country and Afta are my two favorites. It doesn't hurt that they are both dirt cheap.

Most definitely. You can order it online from Avon.com. Wait for it to go on sale though. (Right now it is on sale, 4 for $10). Or there are some eBay sellers that, when bought in quantity, go for the sale price. Of course there is always the local reps too. My town actually has an Avon store in the mall.

For a cheapy wonderful try Gillette AS Balm Sensitive skin. Picked some up for under $3 on Saturday at Wallyworld. It's nothing to write home about but smells fine & seems to work alright. I wanted something on hand for winter.
