Gentlemen & Ladies of B&B... After a self imposed "break" from shaving forums that has lasted close to 2 months, I greet you with the wonderful news that I have found a new love in my life, and NO, it is not a 7/8 Palmera or obscure vintage Simpson.
I met Mary on match.com slightly over 2 months ago. She just happens to be the finest woman this Antique Hoosier has encountered in 49 years and has transformed my life and YES,... My shave den has relocated 2 weeks ago to a home we share in Lakeland, Florida, a short drive from Tampa. Mary is a Surgical Nurse/ Director of Nursing at a Surgery facility in the area and she is officially my very special SWMBO. She is a throughly modern woman with two grown boys and a passion for cooking, wine, travel, and is an adventurous type. A former Cheerleader in high school and the Key Club Sweetheart, she is a 1970's era Beauty both inside and out. I just had to share my good fortune with my noble bretheran of the Blade and let you in on the news.
Also, my Dad has made quite the miracle recovery from his February stroke and is leaving next week with my Mom for a quiet month in their mountain retreat near Franklin, North Carolina. All is well in the Fisher households.
