McAllisters are on sale at Nordstrom as part of their anniversary sale for $229 (Park Avenue, Strand, and Neumonk on sale also). Here's the kicker. I went to the AE store for a fitting, and when I told him I would think about it, he said he would match the price at the "national retailer" that had them on sale. So I got a pair of McAllisters and Veronas (on clearance for $199). All in all a great day!

I didn't know the McAllister was included in Nordstrom's Anniversary sale. I'm really wanting to get the blue Neumonks. I'd also like to get a pair of McAllisters or Strands, but the brown Cole Haan Monk Strap, in Nordstrom's sale, is screaming my name!!
Do you have to be a cardholder at Nordstrom to get the sale? I just went out on their site and didn't see it. Also would you recomend getting fitted somewhere else first?
When I was at Nordstrom on Saturday, they were advertising "Early Access" to cardholders. The sale will be open to the general public on either the 18th or 19th (I can't remember which.)

It's the 19th. I picked up a pair of the Park Avenues. This will be my first pair of AEs. Should I have gotten fitted first?
I have found that AEs on this last are true to size if you go by your Brannock measurement.
