Adverse effect from RazoRock XXX, do I need to worry about other RR soaps?

As the title suggests, I had a some what unpleasant reaction to RR XXX. Beautiful performance and lovely smell, but the tingling (or burning, tbh) sensation was too much for me.

I'm really interested in trying some of the other RR soaps from their artisan and la famiglia lines, and would therefore like to know if anyone else who suffered from the XXX have tried any of the other soaps. If so, did you experience any discomfort?

The real answer is - who knows, but I have had the exact same experience that you have with RR Artisan - Boston Tea Party, and RR Classic Cream Soap. If you'd like to read my experience, here are 2 threads -

I started a thread on the issue here, but haven't updated that one. I probably should post an update -

I've been looking into this issue. I can't tell if it's the fragrance that I'm reacting to, or something else. So far, Mystic Water's is the only thing that hasn't caused that reaction. Could be worse. So far I love that soap.

Have you had this reaction to any other soaps?

I had a bad reaction to the XXX, but none of the other RR soaps, and I've tried them all. You won't know until you try them for yourself.
With that said, a lot of people seem to have a bad reaction to the XXX.

Ran into the same problem with the whole lineup. The ingredients pretty much start off the same just scented differently. At least the one I looked at. Had to look elsewhere. Not worth the expense & time for trial & error. Good news is you should be able to recoupe some.of that on bst as it's discontinued. Best of luck.

There's another concurrent threat on the same topic, concerning an RR Artisan soap. The problem unfortunately can happen with even the best soaps.

I unfortunately had a poor experience with XXX irritating my skin, which really bummed me out because it is great stuff and smells awesome. It has prevented me from trying any other RazoRock product since then, so I am not much help. But I feel your pain with XXX not working out.

@JHP I've not had any problems with the other soaps or creams I've tried and sampled (everything from Arko to Truefitt & Hill), so hopefully it's just the fragrance of the XXX which is bothering me. Thank you for sharing your experience with the XXX.

@Bk124tt I'm actually keeping it around for spring, since my skin is always dry during the winter months. I would like to try it when my face is in a better condition. Hopefully it will become my go to summer soap. Since XXX has been discontinued, I might bring in a higher price if I keep it for a couple of months ;)

I'm just going to risk it and order some Cumba Cheech OB & Jasmine La Famiglia soap. If I can't use it, I can always wrap it and give it as a X-mas gift to one of my friends. Thank you all for your input!
