OK, I'll get things started. Just got a couple of soaps from Chelsea's Soap Garden and a baby QED Grapefruit/Peppermint shave stick.

Of course! I am out of little Anchor Hocking containers at the moment. I need to head to Walmart and get a few more to store these new pretties.

I believe it was Scotto who mentioned Asquith & Somerset's Rosemary & Mint soap. I already have several of their soaps, so today I went searching...

Wound up with Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint. Now, to give you an idea of how large these soaps really are, I have included my Gillette Adjustable long handle razor for scale. I picked these up at TJ Maxx, and they are HUGE! Moisturizing, pleasantly scented, and just a pleasure to use. At $3.99 per bar, a true bargain! Having used them before, I will be cutting these in half before adding them to the shower rack. Drop one of these on your foot...a trip to the ER may be required, as your toe will loose the battle!

Like any good southern redneck, I bathe once a week on Saturday night, whether I need to or not!

I have two other bars that I have been working on since July or August. I use other soaps, so hard to say how long they will last, but it will be a while!

UPS brought these little pretties. T&H Almond and a beautiful "chess-piece" ebony super-badger brush. Here it is straight from the box:

And the brush shampooed with Johnsons baby shampoo, conditioned with Taylors Avocado, and at home with its family:

After I use it a bit, I was going to post a comparison/review of the three OEM brushes I have. I think people get too hung up on the name brand brushes and forget about these (sometimes) reasonably priced options. Stay tuned. This weekend I am also going to post a picture-laden review of the Chelsea's soaps I have been using.
