A week of VDH

Who's in? I'm always in, but it would be nice if someone else was in too We could even wait a week or two before starting so more people can get a puck of this cheap wonder product.

Well, I might as well join in since I use it most every day anyway!

Count me out. The only thing VDH is good for is a base for super-lather. On its own it lacks any cushion. I'm sure if you use it often you may think it is great. But to me it's like driving a Honda Civic...when you hop into a BMW 5-Series (DRH, GFT, Tabac) you'll have a hard time coming back to the old clunker.

Walmart never had it by me but walgreens has it. Last week I saw now my walmart just got VDH in.

I saw some in Bed, Bath, and Beyond today, too. Our WalMart carries it, too. I saw it at one of our local RiteAid stores.

Man I was thinking of a week of Williams. Just picked up a puck for the hell of it (how can you not at 97 cents). Had a nice shave. This stuff makes excellent lather.

I want to buy some VDH Deluxe again. That was my first shave soap.

I'm in the midst of going through my blade sampler. In an effort to limit my variables, I feel compelled to stick with my current cream for the next month or so.

Otherwise, I'd definitely join in. Instead, I'll have to stay tuned for ensuing chatter during the chosen week.

As I'm new to a bunch of things around here, is this a common thing - to have a bunch of folks try a specific product 'en mass'? What other themes have been done (and where can I read about them)?
