What's new

A wasted opportunity.

This is a scene I frequent a lot, I walk past it every day to work, I live just half a mile from it. It is the end of a man made canal, with a park around it. This was sunrise and it was cold the night before making the fog on the water. I failed to get any good shots. To me it's as if it is almost too familiar. I see it every day, so maybe I fail to see a good shot.

Anyone else have issues with trying to find a shot in something so familiar? This is just a cell phone grab shot of the scene.

Yep. There is so little to photograph here that I find myself constantly going back to the same locations trying to find some new angle or anything different.
