A trio of "Firsts" today

Well, after all the talk about MWF (it seemed to be the most prevalent product mentioned in the "What's your favorite soap" threads), I ordered a puck, which arrived a few days ago. Then, my eBay Old Spice Shaving Mug arrived yesterday. To complete the trifecta, my Semogue 1305 boar brush arrived today. Put the three together for the first time, and, ...

I had a great shave! I had to shave the MWF puck a little to fit the mug, the brush had very little to no odor (I shampooed it anyway), and the MWF worked as advertised!

I will have to revisit the fat someday. I only tried a sample but I already have a ton of soaps to work through

My semogue's scent was gone after the first shave. Its great indeed.

I must commend you on your choices. You have decided to take the tiger by the tail and came out victorious! Da Fat can be a challenging soap for a wet shaving veteran. There are people that have tried to create a viable lather that have been building lathers for years and failed with da Fat.

I love it when a plan comes together. I don't always lather the Fat perfectly but even if I don't I still get good glide and cushion. Good choices BTW.
