A slanty shave this morning

I recently acquired a Merkur 37c Slant.
Loaded it up with a Gillette Bleue Extra, some RR King Louis and had a fantastic shave.
I knew it was coming so I let my beard go for 3 days.

What a close shave!
Too bad a modern Merkur isn't as well made as a vintage.
My Futur (which is an older one) is rock solid. Very well made.
This 37c is an awesome shaver, but it just looks cheap.

I just got my hands on a 39c Long Barber Pole Handle does it shave the same as a 37c?

Also i have a Hoffritz Slant and Pompco Slant as well, do they shave as good as modern slants ?

i have to agree with you, Marc. i don't like the finish on any of the Merkurs. It would be great to see the Tradere Slant soon; solid stainless steel. Good luck waiting and let us know how it shaves when you get it. Hee hee.
