A Shaving Year in Review

Mostly this is just an excuse to flip back through the log, count some things and use a new-acquisition Staedtler 2mm leadholder.

I thought it would be interesting to see how I shaved in 2023.

Rex Konsul: 38 shaves
RazoRock Superslant L3SB: 33 shaves
RazoRock Superslant L2OC: 30 shaves
RazoRock Superslant L1OC: 3 shaves
RazoRock Wunderbar: 3 shaves
Above the Tie X1: 1 shave
Phoenix Artisan Starling V2OC: 5 shaves
Fasan Double Slant: 1 shave
RazoRock Stainless Steel Stealth Slant V4: 1 shave
Above the Tie S2: 1 shave
Phoenix Artisan El Fantasma: 10 shaves
Merkur 37: 1 shave
RazoRock BBS-OC: 1 shave
RazoRock BBS-DEV: 4 shaves
Fatip Open Comb Slant: 4 shaves

All told, looks like 98 shaves last year. I spent a lot of time playing with the new Superslants. I also spent a lot of time with the Konsul; and most of the El Fantasma shaves have been fairly recently as I've been trying to build up my skills with lighter razors. I'm a bit shocked that the ATT X1 and S2 only got one run each this year! Most of the low numbers were from pulling out less-used razors during SLANTember and OCtober. I got my last four shaves with the FOCS, which I'm considering keeping on the counter for at least another blade.

Interesting to know, anyway.
