Went to a antiques market today, picked up 2 nice straights and the set below, its a british new and a tech, dont think its a gilette case and both razors are in an excellent condition, but what i found interesting is the blades that come with the razors, apart from the usual gilettes, wilkinsons 7 o clocks etc, there are wardonias and single edge blades, all unopened, which leads me to beliave that the gentleman who this belonged to must have had some sort of razor collection himself, and not just the gilettes, an early form of rad maybe!

Very nice. I check out the antique shops regularly; but, unfortunately, I rarely find anything worth having. And all the local dealers have realized that old shaving stuff is in demand, so they jack their prices way up -- to the point of being ridiculous.

I am finding the same, the prices are creeping up over here as well, got lucky with this as it was only £10/$16, so for 2 razors not bad, the 2 straights cost me £13/$19, again not too bad, but the regular antique shops i go to have jacked the prices up a fair bit lately.
