This is a gold anodized 2 piece safety bar Apollo razor fabricated in aluminum. I think this is a very unusual material for an Apollo razor which are usually quite heavy plated zinc alloy or brass. The razor does have a nickel plated cap in either brass or zinc. From a design standpoint the razor is from the 1930's and appears very lightly used with storage abrasion apparent on the box. The condition of the box would seem to date the razor to the 1930s. It weighs 39 grams and is a beautiful two tone collectable Apollo. I have no idea what model number this would be. It shaves like a dream.
