A guy at work, was asking about DE's, so I brought him a Slim Adjustable, and some Derby blades.
He has super sensitive skin, and never went ATG with the Mach3.(would always have razor burn too)

So, the next day, he was clean shaven, and his skin wasn't red at all.
He loved it, and said he even went ATG.

Unfortunately he is a lazy *** when it comes to shaving, and usually does it in the shower, with a Mach3, not looking, just shaving.
He does not like the extra time he needs to shave, but he is just about hooked, just needs to burn through his 36 leftover cartridges from costco.

Hopefully he will overcome this malady and regain his senses and realize that shaving and all of its nuances can be one of lives pleasures instead of the drudgery that is assumed by most.

I almost got my wife recruited. I shaved her legs the other day with my SS and she said it was one of the best shaves she has ever had. She said that she might borrow my razor when she needs to shave again

I had about an hour long conversation with a friend the other night at the bar....He too had the neck irritation that I think led a majority of us to DE....Lets just hope...maybe My first convert????

I have converted a friend of mine. He was an easy target though since he is an antique store geek and loves everything oldschool. I gave him a flair tip SS and a few blades and I think he is doing well. I am also going to make him a brush when my handles that I got from the bay arrives. He really needs it since he's still using canned goo.

I'm working on one at the moment... He's affraid of cutting his throat with a straight, I've suggested a DE... He said that if he has a 3 days week-end, he would... Just waiting for the next holiday now...

When I first started DE shaving, I had a fog free mirror from WalMart, a SS, cheap brush and a tub of Proraso. I shaved in the shower, only switching when I started using straights.
